Today is the deadline to register to vote in Ohio’s presidential primary election. After this past weekend, the stakes couldn’t be higher for the right to life.
On Saturday, America lost an intellectual giant, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, a man who ardently opposed the overreach of activist judges who wrote the right to an abortion into the Constitution.
His death is tragic in its own right.
But now, as we move forward into Ohio’s primary election, the stakes of voting pro-life just got higher. Consider its weight during Saturday’s GOP Debate. Or the differences between statements made by pro-life Senator Rob Portman and his opponent, Ted Strickland.
If you are not registered to vote in Ohio, head to your Board of Elections, library or DMV, or postmark your registration TODAY to ensure that your voice is heard on March 15.
