COLUMBUS, Ohio–Today, the Ohio Right to Life PAC announced its endorsements for the Ohio Primary Election on May 8, 2018.

“The May 2018 primary is critical for Ohio’s pro-life movement to maintain the momentum of the last eight years,” said Mike Gonidakis, speaking on behalf of the Ohio Right to Life PAC. “After weeks of screening and interviewing candidates, the Ohio Right to Life PAC strongly encourages pro-life Ohio to vote for these men and women, who represent an impressive, bipartisan slate of pro-life candidates. After eight years of pro-life success, every pro-life Ohioans should head to the polls to maintain leadership that will forward life-saving policies and initiatives.”

In 2018, the Ohio Right to Life PAC will work with national organizations, including National Right to Life and Susan B. Anthony List, to advocate for pro-life candidates at the grassroots level and urge informed pro-life voter turnout. In 2016, 92 percent of Ohio Right to Life PAC endorsed candidates won their races.

“The last seven years have made one thing very clear: when strong pro-life leaders take office, our effort to change hearts and minds for life is successful” said Gonidakis. “Since 2011, Ohio has enacted 20 new pro-life laws, including the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and abortions in Ohio have hit a 40 year low. The Ohio Right to Life PAC urges every Ohioan to vote pro-life in this historic and important primary election. The outcome of this year’s election will effect the lives of mothers and their babies for years to come.”
